About Apollo
Apollo.io is a go-to-market platform that gives sales teams the data, engagement tools and workflows to find, contact and close their ideal buyers. Its audience of SDRs, AEs, sales leaders and founders lives in the feed all day. Apollo wanted to be in front of them everywhere, every day.
The challenge
Most B2B brands test creator marketing one platform at a time. Apollo wanted eight at once, in five months, with content shipping fast enough to feel like a takeover. None of it could read like an ad.
- Show up in every B2B sales feed across 8 platforms at the same time
- Ship 277 pieces of content in 5 months without sacrificing quality
- Stay under the $50 to $90 CPM typical of B2B influencer campaigns on LinkedIn
- Coordinate 124 creators, four campaigns and every dollar through one system
Creatorbuzz’s role
Creatorbuzz designed and ran the entire program end-to-end: sourcing, briefing, contracting, content review, budget tracking and reporting. Every one of the 277 pieces of content ran through a single system.
- Sourced and managed 124 creators across LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, X, YouTube and three additional platforms, matched to Apollo’s ICP of sales professionals.
- Built one system for everything. Every brief, contract, deliverable review and dollar ran through a single pipeline, built and maintained by one program lead.
- Structured the program as four escalating campaigns so each launch built on the momentum of the last.
- Tracked performance in real time and moved budget to whichever platform was hitting hardest.
- Engineered a zero-spend gifting play that generated 41 organic posts at no creator
cost.
The campaign: four launches in five months
Phase 1: The inbound campaign (Nov 2025).
The proof of concept. Creatorbuzz took the first campaign from brief to live in six days across LinkedIn and X. Twelve posts went up, 335K views came in, and two posts went viral. That campaign set the pace for the whole program.
Phase 2: The big one (Dec 2025 to Feb 2026).
The flagship push delivered 134 posts and 2.88M views. 17 posts went viral, seven of them crossing 100K views each. A holiday pause split the campaign into two waves and the momentum held through both.

Phase 3: The gift play (Jan to Feb 2026)
Creatorbuzz sent gift boxes to sales creators with no posting obligation, and they posted anyway. The play generated 41 posts and 171K views at zero creator spend, including 30 posts in a single eight-day stretch.

Phase 4: Apollo Anywhere (May to Jun 2026).
The always-on engine has delivered 90 posts and 1.5M views so far, with seven viral posts and 57 posts going live in a single week. The program is still running.

The creator dinner
Creatorbuzz brought 30 of the program’s creators together for a dinner. The people who had been showing up in each other’s feeds for months finally met in person. 30 creators from the Apollo program at the creator dinner.

The results
Across five months, four campaigns and eight platforms, the program delivered scale and efficiency at the same time.
- 4.8M+ views across 8 platforms.
- 277 pieces of content from 124 creators, every piece briefed, reviewed and tracked.
- 26 viral posts across the four campaigns, seven of them crossing 100K views.
- $43 CPM in a market where $50 is considered good. LinkedIn B2B influencer campaigns typically run $50 to $90.
- 2.2% engagement rate across 107K+ engagements, roughly 4x the 0.3 to 0.5% average
of paid LinkedIn ads. - $4.44 cost per engagement, tracked to the dollar.
Why it worked (steal this)
- Prove it fast, then scale. The first campaign went from brief to live in six days. Twelve posts went up, two went viral, and that was the green light for everything that followed.
- Build the system before the volume. 277 pieces of content only works when every brief, contract and dollar runs through one pipeline.
- Move budget while the program is live. Real-time tracking meant spend followed whatever was working. That is how eight platforms averaged a $43 CPM.
- Make creator content read like real posts. People engage with it like real posts. The program pulled 4x the engagement rate of paid ads.
- Gifting still works in B2B. 41 organic posts at $0 creator spend, 30 of them in a single eight-day run.
